Cinematographer Jim Frater Wins ACS Awards 2014

One of our favourite cinematographers, Jim Frater, has picked up a slew of well earned awards at the recent ACS Awards for WA & SA held in Adelaide.  And as the wins were all Electric Pictures’ productions we are of course especially pleased!

We love your work Jim – so professional on set, hard working, imaginative and fun.  Congratulations for these well deserved wins.

Jim took home two Gold in the category of Dramatised Documentaries for Episode 1 of The War That Changed Us (see pic above), and Episode 2 of Desert War. He also won Silver in the category Documentaries, Cinema & TV for Enigma Man A Stone Age Mystery. If you want to check out Jim’s style these programs are all available in our online store.

And further great news is that Jim made his ACS accreditation this year.  You have to consistently win ACS Gold to be considered for this.  So well done Jim, and Electric Pictures looks forward to working with you again soon.
