Our long running series Aussie Gold Hunters celebrated its 100th Episode recently – a remarkable milestone in Australian TV history. Commissioned by Discovery Channel in 2016, it has gone from strength to strength, with Season 7 currently airing worldwide, and our Aussie Gold Crew already underway with the filming of the next season.
Broadcast in over 140 countries worldwide, Aussie Gold Hunters has been a huge success internationally and is Discovery’s all-time highest rating local show. As the #1 factual series on the Foxtel cable platform for five consecutive years, it continues to grow its audience year on year.
Also breaking records in the UK, Aussie Gold Hunters is one of the best performing original productions ever on Quest TV, Warner Bros. Discovery’s free-to-air channel in the UK, with a whopping audience increase of 31% for Season 5, reaching an audience of over 7.9 million individuals. It has also performed strongly on Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming service Discovery+.
