Established in 1992 by CEO Andrew Ogilvie, Electric Pictures has earned a reputation as one of WA’s premium producers of high-quality content in a range of genres, including Science, History, Observational Documentary, Popular Culture and International Affairs.
Electric Pictures worked on the highly acclaimed Drain the Oceans Season 1 for National Geographic, and devised and produced Discovery’s hit series Aussie Gold Hunters, currently in production of its eighth season. Over the years, the company has worked closely with many of the world’s most respected factual broadcasters, including ABC, ARTE, BBC, Discovery, CBC, Channel Four, Corus, Foxtel, ITV, NHK, National Geographic, PBS, RTE, S4C, SBS, Sky and ZDF. In addition, the company has had extensive experience co-producing programmes with other independents in the UK, France, Italy and Canada.
