Electric Pictures is based in Perth, Western Australia with a regional office in Toronto, Canada. The Company has over 22 years of experience producing factual programming for the international television market. Andrew Ogilvie, founder and CEO, has built a worldwide profile with the production of award winning documentaries in a range of genres including history, science, human interest, arts, adventure, and international affairs.

Our team has a reputation for delivering high-end series and one-off specials for broadcast partners including ABC, ARTE, BBC, Discovery, National Geographic, NHK, RTE, SBS, and ZDF. We have extensive co-production experience and established relationships with independent producers in the UK, France and Italy.

The Electric Pictures Group includes a high definition post-production facility, Colourbox, and a distribution company, EP Independent.

Our sister company, EP Independent, specialises in the distribution of blue chip television documentaries. EPI provides viewers in Australia, and throughout the world, with a reliable source of high quality, entertaining, factual programming on DVD via retail outlets and here in our online store.
